I'm not watching the video to find out their opinions, but:

Black text on a white shirt is similar to Charlie's shirt

Blood is on the same side as Charlie's gusher

Problem solved accurately describes Charlie's current condition

All the blood on their t-shirts is on the left side, the same way that Kirk's blood was.

Those "costumes" were in extremely poor taste and no matter what they thought of Kirk, its ridiculously poor taste to mock someone's assassination.

The problem is these costumes were not about CK, and had been worn at least one year prior to his assassination.

I agree making fun of his death is in horrible taste, no mater whether he deserved it or not, but just because something looks tangentially similar doesn't mean it's related.
