I hated voting yes on 50, but did. I hated it for the anti-democracy framing of society. Gerrymandering seems like it should be a clear violation of Voting Rights. Yet, what else to do. They go low, we go high is just failing the paradox of tolerance. We really need the SC court to say gerrymandering is illegal. Not this Supreme Court, obviously. The previous one, because now it's too late.

I agree with you but mostly I appreciate you and those in blue states that are fighting back in the only ways you can. I'm just a blue dot in a deep lake of red hoping to see an angry blue sea rise. Although I have voted in every election since i was old enough, my vote has never really mattered or made any difference outside of local politics. I guess what I'm trying to get at is people like me need people like you to make those hard, bold decisions right now. Thanks!
I think the 2024 election was a pretty good example of why you swallow your goddamn pride and vote for the lesser of two evils when it comes down to the wire.
If you can't do that, you are not an adult and don't have a firm grasp of what being an adult really is.
You really need reforms in your structure of power and the way elections work. Starting with dividing the current presidential power between a Prime Minister (or Chancellor) and a President.

In the two party system of the USA, either you Endorse the DNC or you're enabling the GOP, simple as.
Then why do we have primary elections?
To pick the candidate on the ticket for the party you endorse.
Doesn’t that imply that a Democrat might find another Democrat lame, and not vote for them, while still supporting the party?
If the DNC lose any seats then a Republican wins and the world is a worse place.
If a Democrat doesn't win the nomination then they aren't a Democrat candidate.
There is only one morally acceptable situation where you don't vote for the DNC: a second Bernie Sanders is the leading candidate in polls, because a Republican is always Always ALWAYS worse.
