We've had banned books in America for a while now. It's a simple reminder the bullshit ass fascism has been here, at least in blue hair form, for quite some time. Hell yeah, fight back!

Can you explain what you mean by "in blue hair form"?

[–] DagwoodIII@piefed.social 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

"Blue hair" refers to older ladies who use a particular hair rinse.

Think of the grandmother clutching her pearls.

So, instead of jackboots and book burnings, you get concerned citizens politely asking for certain books to be moved off the shelves, 'for the children.'

Precisely. Not sure who's downvoting me though. I hate banning books. I hate fascism. Who's side are the downvoters on?

Blue hair is also a common insult the right uses for"SJWs" so it reads to the unaware that you are calling "Liberals" fascists. I checked your comment history before responding and that's the only reason I assumed good faith.

Edit: pressed send too early finished my thought

Learn something new everyday. Heh. These motherfuckers take everything don't they? Damn, and here I thought blue hair was a universal insult for pearl clutchers. Well thanks for the scoop and the benefit of the doubt. Cheers friend!

Lexigraphy time.

Blue hair as an old lady is pre-1970s era. I don't see many older women doing that particular rinse these days; mostly I see those people going for a blond rinse. It would be a very light blue, almost silver tone. Think the jive speaking White actress in 'Airplane.'

Blue hair as a punk/anarchist symbol is late 1970s on. Neon color.

You're being downvoted by obnoxious lefty puritans. Vegans hating on vegetarians way of thinking. It's truely the worst.
