I’m trying to use up my big stash of yarn while listening to free audiobooks and watching free movies. The internet archive has a fair bit.

Black Friday sales coming up on 28/11.

If you've got anything you need, or maybe want to snap up some early Christmas pressies, get your list ready!

I got some multivitamin gummies on sale at Coles for $10 down from $30. (Ultravite)

Buyer beware though as I couldn’t find any ingredients list and stopped taking them weeks ago as they didn’t sit well with me. Should be fine for average people but watch out if you have any food intolerances

One strap is fraying and ripping off my backpack… and the metal attachment for the pull tab broke, not just the tab itself which could have been replaced. But it’s a two pull zipper so could just open and close with the other tab.

I wonder if I can repair it securely or if the strap would just tear out again or the seam would split. I could reinforce it by doubling the end over which might make it shorter or maybe by using a patch.

I could just replace it but the equivalent now is $40 when the same thing used to be $20, plus it would be a shame to send a still working bag to landfill.
