Sorry, I don't trust someone who chose to fight for mercenaries during the Trump admin and I do not believe for a second that he, at no point in the nearly twenty years between 2007 and 2025, didn't know about the Nazi symbol on his chest, and only found out last week when he had it covered up. If he did learn prior to that, he was comfortable wearing a Nazi symbol on his chest until it became politically inconvenient.

That's especially unbelievable if what the Jacobin article says, that he's “... a left-leaning guy who runs frequently in hyper-right wing circles”, is true. Heck, that concept on its own is suspicious and off-putting.

My single opinion is irrelevant, I have no say in politics, and it looks like he's gonna win anyway, so here's hoping he does good things, but I will never trust him.

Edit: On paper his policies and opinions look good. But so did Fetterman's in PA...

Working class veneer on a guy with rich parents sounds a lot like Fetterman.

Why is everyone so obsessed with protecting the dude who was clueless enough to get a Nazi tattoo? The candidates still aren't even finalized. Just vote for someone else ffs.

Susan Collins is garbage but i dont understand how anyone could vote for a guy that had a nazi tattoo.

Want to be a politician? Don't ever get a nazi tattoo. It's pretty simple

You can have your opinion on this guy all you want, but we need folks like him on the left if we want to continue as a democratic country. We need fighters, not bought and sold career politicians that hide behind words.

I'm willing to look past this guy's past as mine is quite similar to his. I was a young dumb idiot for a long portion of my life too, but I've since woken up.

At the end of the day my opinion doesn't matter though. I'm not a resident of Maine.

Don't vote Democrat. They have no morals, no principles, nothing. Voting for Nazi is example of how low the dumpster party can get.
