This meme seems to me like a reference to how charlie used his platform to spread the lie that reports showed that George Floyd was killed by fentanyl overdose. No one believes that charlie died of OD, but charlie had millions convinced that George Floyd was not murdered by a cop and that people were over reacting.

I have seen the shooting video several times and it has been weeks to process the shooting. My take away is now this…. The world is much better without Charlie Kirk in it, and he died in the most “karma is gonna get you” way possible. I fee zero sympathy for Charlie, a bit for his right wing nut wife, but not much

That's not correct. He didn't advocate for "violence". He was a diehard proponent of gun rights (I'm not) but that's not calling for violence. And I dont really care whether people agree or disagree with his views, SURELY we can agree that NO ONE should be shot for their views, especially when they've gone out of their way to advocate for open discourse and debate RATHER than violence.

Well, YMMV but personally Im a pacifist. I dont believe in killing ANYONE. I would make an exception for someone directly trying to kill my loved ones and I was there to stop it, but that would be self defense, not murder. My grandparents ended up in Canada specifically because they did not want to fight with the people who where raiding their villages and killing them.

One set of my grandparents were children in England in the 1940s, and experienced their homes being bombed during Nazi bombing raids over London.
My other set of grandparents were a bit older and raised in Canada, but both proudly served their country against the Nazi regime. Grandfather was an RCAF navigator and grandma was a nurse.

Your statement was that school shootings were a necessary evil of having gun rights. He stated that there will be gun deaths if citizens are armed. He wasn't speaking specifically about school shooting or that they are a 'necessary evil' which is what you stated. A narrow but important distinction.
Just for the record I dont agree with the US stance on guns and I think gun violence is abhorrent, so I dont agree with Kirk's views, Im just trying to be accurate as this guy gets misquoted A LOT.

He was justifying citizens being armed and that the shootings are an unfortunate side effect.

Some of us don't actually mind a little violence from time to time. Violence has been the only thing to actually bring about lasting positive change for the working class, and has been required for the removal of fascism. I've punched a few nazis in my life and I would not much mind shooting an ice agent off his victim. Nature itself is extremely violent. I think it has a lot to do with being removed from ACTUAL violence. If those commenters were sitting at a speech and the guy just 20 feet in front of them had his neck blasted open with a bullet, assassinated and dying in front of them, they would have the same reaction as all the people in the video. Utter shock, followed by complete panic as they ran in fear as fast as they could. And likely weeks of sleepless nights replaying that in their head.
But instead, they'd rather spew hateful words about another human being killed like it was a good thing because they didnt like his words. I agree, thats messed up.
