Hopefully the next patch has audio fixes so my team can start diving again.

Here, this has helped fix almost all issues with stuttering (fps dips) and audio dropping. It glitches here and there but def makes it playable

Audio fix

\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Helldivers 2\data\settings.ini

change

"memory_size = 78643200"

FPS Fix

Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog. Paste %APPDATA%/Arrowhead/Helldivers2 into the Run dialog and click OK. In this folder, you will see a file called user_settings.config.

Open it using notepad or any other text editor you wish, and make the following adjustments before saving the file:

particles_cast_shadows = false
particles_local_lighting = false
particles_tesselation = false
particles_receive_shadows = true
lens_quality_enabled = false

I really hope we have a come back

I’ve been having issues with low (but consistent) frame rates ever since the AI update, getting 30-45 fps. But last night every 2-10 minutes my game would freeze for 5-10 seconds. Really hope this fix is the beginning of a come back

Yeah I think did that fps fix a bit ago and it helped for a bit but I’ll double check the steam guide I saw it on

Edit: it was something else and THOSE settings from the steam guide got reset. So I'll try both and see how performance improves, thanks for the tip

if you validate files or update you need to redo the fps fix as that is part of the game files the audio fix is generated by the game so it persists

Check and repair the steam files too. I was having lots of issues until steam found and reacquired several corrupt files.

There are still some bugs, but most of them have been relatively minor by comparison.
