The North Atlantic Weather War is one of the most underrated parts of WW2.
The North-East Greenland Sledge/Sirius Patrol story in particular is long overdue a movie.

Try this novel. "Dark Voyage" by Allan Furst. Dutch cargo ship is seconded to the British in 1940. Repainted and renamed as a Spanish ship, they carry out missions for the Allies
