As a little kid I caught a mantis and wanted to watch it eat.
So we then caught 4-5 ladybugs, and put them in the container with the mantis, expecting the obvious.
Instead, every ladybug immediately swarmed the mantis at the joints, and within seconds had broken it down into multiple pieces and all started to devour the body.
It's when I learned not to judge wife life based on appearances.
