Well, find out from someone who worked at a movie theater and has witnessed it all first hand.

🍿 Want that real movie theater popcorn experience without leaving your house? In this step-by-step guide, I’ll show you exactly how to make authentic cinema-style popcorn at home. Worked in a movie theatre (didn’t watch the video): It’s coconut oil and butter salt

Flavacol is the butter salt.

Didn’t watch it either. My ex did very well at popcorn with ghee and a nice pot, forget if cast iron or what. Nutritional yeast as well.

i do pretty much the same except i like using two nested stainless steel bowls for the popping. one inverted as a domed lid. the bowl funnels the unpopped kernels to the middle where the burner is, and after popping you can use the two bowls to serve.
