They weren't as young as the Hitler Youth, so they don't have the same excuse of naivety. Plus these adults have had the chance to learn from history why being Nazis is bad.
I mean he spends every day supporting a man who in his own words is "America's Hitler". Somehow I don't feel he changed his mind on that topic... just at the time people didn't realize that was a compliment from him.
