If I remember the story right, the sketch did help them catch him
I still don't understand why police sketch artists are a thing when back in the mid 2000's I made a golfer in Tiger Woods 2005 that looked just like me. The GameFace II software in that game was so easy to make a face that looked like whatever you wanted. Best face manipulation software I've seen before or since.
So why don't police just have that game around to have witnesses make a model of whoever they saw?
