They can keep killing all the work arounds they want but you will still be able to set a local account when saying you are connecting to a domain.

That only works with Pro. Home doesn't have that option.

And that is why I always tell people not to get home edition. Been doing it since XP days.

Too many good features removed.

As long as they don't remove it from the IoT LTSC edition I don't care.

Something something first they came for the Home users..

I also use IoT LTSC when I need to use Windows, but we shouldn't stand for this shit to begin with, even if it doesn't affect our SKU. In my mind, it's only a matter of time before IoT LTSC won't be a suitable option anymore, and then it's too late to care. It's a stopgap solution to a bigger problem, an abusive and controlling relationship Microsoft has with their users.

I have two Windows programs that I use regularly. I run Windows 10 inside Gnome Boxes within Linux Mint. The Windows VM has no internet access. I have successfully moved the Windows VM (not really hard) to a second computer. I see no reason to ever play Microsoft's game again. Setting up Windows 10 or Windows IoT LTSC within Gnome Boxes is dead easy.
