Stories are about those who have been placed in positions of trust, and then abused that trust.

The 2020 protests werent even violent. It was just a bigger turnout with police beating the crap out of protesters. There was some property damage, but that was later proven to be proud-boys trying to implicate antifa sections of the protest. Just like with the ICE protests, Portland protesters do this as a profession. You will never see them strike or spray a pig. You will only ever see them being abused by the bacon when they successfully hurt the pig's feefees with their words.
