Post guidelines

Title formatPost title should mirror the news source title. If you don't like the title of article, look for an alternative source instead of editorializing it.
URL formatPost URL should be the original link to the article (even if paywalled) and archived copies left in the body. It allows avoiding duplicate posts when cross-posting.
[Opinion] prefixOpinion (op-ed) articles must use [Opinion] prefix before the title. Opinion articles refer to articles that their publisher doesn't explictly endorse.
Country prefixCountry prefix can be added to the title with a separator (|, :, etc.) if the news is from a local publisher who doesn't clearly mention the country.

This is fluff. SB 243 is the real deal, which he already vetoed once.

The governor is also weighing another bill – SB 243 – that passed both the State Assembly and Senate with bipartisan support this month. The bill would regulate AI companion chatbots, requiring operators to implement safety protocols, and hold them legally accountable if their bots fail to meet those standards.

At this point you could probably start a third political party in the US with the sole issue of “stop fucking with the internet”.

See my platform would be "All Parking Lots Must Be Connected"
Because it pisses me off to no end trying to get to a location I can see with my eyeballs and the lot I turn into is somehow completely isolated from the adjacent ones

But I'll also gladly take on "Stop Fucking with the Internet" because I'm pretty passionate about that, too

Mine would be all parking lots must be abolished.
