Reminds me of that photo of someone's project at school science fair, where the person tested how much sawdust can one put in sandwiches before people notice.

Victorian England did this with bread. They added enough chalk until people noticed.
Hundreds of years later, "the difference is chalk and cheese" is still a saying.
