Years of parroting Russian talking points. Article after article talking about how Russian-speakers in Donbas needed to freed from… something. And misunderstanding what Russians mean by “nazification” — specifically breathless articles about Azov battalion. Calling every criticism of Trump “Trump derangement syndrome” (until recently — apparently Susan has had some buyer’s remorse). Helping Jill stein split the leftist vote.

“Links”? Here. Me. I read it for years. It started as a finance blog and was on-point during the 2008 financial crisis. She still is perceptive about social justice and financial matters (holding CalPERS’ feet to the fire was great).

But at some point she started parroting Russian talking points. I don’t know if she’s cognitively or financially captured by Putin, but it casts a shadow on everything she does.
