Digital rights management (DRM) is the management of legal access to digital content. Various tools or technological protection measures, such as access control technologies, can restrict the use of proprietary hardware and copyrighted works. DRM technologies govern the use, modification and distribution of copyrighted works (e.g. software, multimedia content) and of systems that enforce these policies within devices. DRM technologies include licensing agreements and encryption.

I thought I remembered Apple announcing an end to DRM on iTunes quite a while back and sure enough, it was called iTunes Plus and it launched back in 2009. Not literally everything was DRM free but allegedly the vast majority of stuff on iTunes is and has been DRM free for a while.

Not my plan to go on sharing, but got curious and went to check, going into a small rabbit hole (adhd ftw)...
Checked at first the M4V videos, then as I got suspicious, the M4A audios, and then the MP3 conversions ITunes does to be sure.
For both M4A and M4V files:
VLC can't find any fingerprint data, at least not with my default install (maybe some fork can?);
Of the fingerprint information, ffprobe can only find the account id metadata, which is the user's email;
Through Okteta, I could find my account's name and my real name.
For MP3 conversions, both seem to lose identifying information.
