My prediction for the future? Well my default assumption is that we're on the stupidest timeline. So remember that Jezebel article about hiring Etsy witches to curse Charlie Kirk?

Well over the next few years this spirals...and... we end up burning people as witches again by the 2028 election.

The trans community is the modern witch. And the burning has been going on for a few years now.

Yeah but don't you need, like, a loch of hair or a drop of blood? 🤔

Magick is about will, so no, not particularly. The loch of hair or drop of blood is to even more narrow down who they are if you don't know anything about them. But people are more than willing to share a massive amount of information with you online. cackles.

I wonder if a DNA sample would work in this day and age?

I used to follow the Herman Cain Award sub on Reddit and was consistently amazed at what toxic hate some of the nominees and awardees would post publicly on social media. This is the modern lock of hair or fingernail clipping, and it seems that the most vicious people seem to be the ones who most eagerly offer it.
