We got too good at killin'

I have yet to complete a Super Helldive and get out alive on a hive world lol.

Honestly the game was feeling a little too easy 2 weeks ago so I’m happy that “Super Helldive” is living up to its name.

Also I don’t think I could’ve enjoyed my first encounter with a hive lord more. A week ago I solo-dropped into a mission and couldn’t even make it to the tunnels before the ground tossed me into the air, then a skyscraper popped up and flattened me. It was exactly as terrifying and intimidating as it should have been and I could do jack shit about it because I didn’t bring any heavy air support strategems. Eventually more divers joined me in my struggle to survive and we managed to hang on for a few more minutes before we officially failed. Talk about a cinematic game. That was horrible and terrific and awesome and the fucking most difficult enemy I have ever seen in any PvE game. I’ve fought similarly enormous worms in Dead Space, Mass Effect, and God of War and beaten them as just a dude with a gun. I know there’s no chance of that in this game and I love it. Helldivers never die!!!

Underground Stalkers are not burrowing, but they are nasty all the same. Their cloaking is very efficient in poor lighting conditions.

I haven't seen any burrowing stalker, they're just invisible as usual - unless they only started appearing less than 8 hours ago?
