You can set a custom theme for each project to easily identify which window has each:

  1. Open the command palette (CTRL + SHIFT + P on windows) and search for Preferences: Open Settings (UI)
  2. Change to the Workspace tab and search for Color Theme

To cycle through themes, enter the theme picker with CTRL + K CTRL + T, then use arrow keys to navigate.
