A man with no idea what the fuck he is talking about lol, sums up the current USA

[–] tanisnikana@lemmy.world 102 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Don’t forget! He’s in a position of power and a position of authority.

[–] curbstickle@lemmy.dbzer0.com 58 points 2 months ago

Absolutely sums up the USA currently.

[–] N0t_5ure@lemmy.world 112 points 2 months ago (6 children)

The greatest metabolic problem in the United States, obesity, has strong ties to the addictive hyperpalatable ultraprocessed foods high in simple sugars and fats that comprise the majority of the Standard American Diet, and he's not made any mention of it, let alone take any action to address it.

[–] ickplant@lemmy.world 68 points 2 months ago (4 children)

No, no, I’m pretty sure it’s all the vaccines. That must be it.

[–] ShaggyBlarney@lemmy.ca 30 points 2 months ago (1 children)

There are HEAVY amounts of CHEMICALS in VaCcInEs!!! And all ChEmIcAlS are the DEVIL!!! ~S

[–] ickplant@lemmy.world 13 points 2 months ago (5 children)

I’ve heard there is hydrogen dioxide in vaccines. That sounds dangerous! Just do your own research, no way that can go wrong.

[–] ShaggyBlarney@lemmy.ca 19 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (3 children)

DiHyDrOgEn mOnOxIdE is a two word ChEmIcAl making it extra bad!!!! I've heard that everyone who's touched that stuff has or will die!!!! *corrected to the right chemical

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 11 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Even worse. There's a lot of dihydrogen monoxide in there. That stuff is the worst. Everybody who ever consumed it has died or will die at some point!

[–] CarbonIceDragon@pawb.social 7 points 2 months ago

Not just that, inhalation of the stuff can be fatal within minutes

Nah nah nah. Vaccines cause autism.

Food dye causes obesity. And I think seed oils cause asthma but I haven't been tracking the insanity of that.

[–] Denjin@feddit.uk 7 points 2 months ago

That's what my best mate Andrew Wakefield says, have you thought about donating to one of his charitable trusts?

Actually that’s one of the few positive angles Kennedy campaigned on: fighting ultra processed foods.

I don’t know about action, but it’s at least the idea behind MAHA.

[–] onslaught545@lemmy.zip 18 points 2 months ago

He has a lot of good thoughts, but the problem is that he always drags them into crazy land. That and they're overshadowed by his stupid and dangerous thoughts.

He's basically the personification of, "A broken clock is right twice a day."

[–] cubism_pitta@lemmy.world 12 points 2 months ago (4 children)

He has actually, if you pay attention

The current push against seed oils and using beef tallow is thanks partly to him

[–] brucethemoose@lemmy.world 11 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I dunno why you are getting downvoted. This is a core tenant of MAHA.

The antivaxx pseudoscience and mass firings are unforgivable, and action on the food end is slow, but still.

[–] cubism_pitta@lemmy.world 11 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It's ok, It could be read as praise. He is a chuckle fuck as they all are though and seed oils are fine...

[–] pennomi@lemmy.world 10 points 2 months ago

Seed oils are fine though, and have made processed foods better than they used to be. Fighting against artificial food dyes was the major win he pushed for.

He's absolutely talked about it. It was a core marketing and campaign promise of his.

But has he actually pushed forward any meaningful legislation or rules that would actually reduce or eliminate the harms of UPFs yet? No, not really.

RFK is literally a child murderer

Schatz recounted the story of how Kennedy traveled to Samoa in 2019 to discourage people from taking the measles vaccine which ultimately led to an outbreak in which thousands of people were infected and 83, mostly children, died.

“It is so chilling to contemplate the idea that someone as recognizable as a Kennedy would fly across an ocean to a small, developing country and basically tell everybody, ‘Be afraid of this lifesaving medicine’,” Schatz concluded.

He isn't just a quack, he is a fascist.

Mass child murderer

My biggest mitrochondrial challenge is that someone like RFK can be in a position of power anything to do with health and medicine.

[–] lightnsfw@reddthat.com 44 points 2 months ago (1 children)

If I had to pick someone suffering from mitochondrial challenges and inflammation based off appearances I'd choose RFK over a random child any time.

STFU you roided out goon.

His family literally came together and penned a letter to America warning us about him before the 2024 election.

That's the kind of freak this guy is.

But Americans are too stupid to listen to reason. So here we are.

RFK had a book published some time back in which he reveals he doesn't believe in germ theory. Germ theory. This should have automatically disqualified him from doing anything that gives him decision making powers dealing with health, and medicine.

This it the idiot in charge of the nations health. I hate the US.

I think he means midichlorians.

He's a conspiracy nut and believes in quack medicine.

A sentence like that sounds like something my mom would say when talking about some semi-common chronic condition passed down onto humanity from some ancient long gone super advanced culture that only crystals and collodial silver can heal that "mainstream medicine" refuses to accept due to... Dogma... Or big pharma... Or some combination of those two.

[–] turdburglar@sh.itjust.works 19 points 2 months ago (5 children)

seems more likely he’s just seeing the utter despair of young humans realizing what kind of world they have been born into.

The mitochondial challenges are the powerhouse of the prison cell!

[–] giantripdrop@piefed.social 18 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

Ya see, bio class taught me the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell, and, uhh ya see, ya see these young kids with all the mitochondrial challenges. They have cell powerhouse problems.

We need the mitochondria power levels to be over 9000 to return balance to the force.

[–] ickplant@lemmy.world 14 points 2 months ago

Not enough midi-chlorians or something. The Force is not with them.

[–] DicJacobus@lemmy.world 17 points 2 months ago (2 children)

6 months ago my insane uncle who idolized rfk junior. Warned me of this September autism reveal.. (spoiler. Its fucking vaccines)

And he genuinely thinks once the news is out. There's going to be purge style violence against pharma and Healthcare workers for "poisoning their kids"

the only person who didn't learn mitochondria is the powerhouse of a cell in high school

[–] EtherWhack@lemmy.world 15 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It's his way of trying to himself look smart by using a term he thinks means that the children are lethargic.

(They aren't even lethargic. It's just a generational difference in culture.)

[–] dmention7@midwest.social 16 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Also maybe the fact that he's looking at kids in a fuckin airport. If there is one public space I'd condone parents shoving an iPad in their hands and letting them binge YouTube while sitting quietly, that is it.

As noted in the Epstein files.

[–] jj4211@lemmy.world 13 points 2 months ago

We need someone to take on Mitochondrial challenges now? I know just the person...

[–] NigelFrobisher@aussie.zone 13 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I like that he thinks airports are somehow a place you’ll see social connection and not just loads of tired bored people waiting.

This is typical behaviour of morons... they make up skills they do not have to feel important. It is a continuation of the reason why morons believe conspiracy theories so easily, it gives them a sense they are special somehow and "got it" when others are "missing it"

Exactly the same reason cops claim to be able to "know" if someone is high just by looking at them

Go eat more roadkill you weirdo

[–] WalrusDragonOnABike@reddthat.com 9 points 2 months ago

Wonder if he played Parasite Eve recently.

[–] scarabic@lemmy.world 9 points 2 months ago (1 children)

He may be insane but he is tapping into parents fears and he can be pretty effective at it, to the ruin of all.

Yet another GOP conspiracy theorist who was given a freaking CABINET position to be in charge of our health.

The GOP wants us to die, plain and simple.
