All the in-person video rental places in my area went out of business before or during Covid.

Maybe not the video stores, but I'm pretty sure the adults-only store has a curtain like that as a throwback. I can't remember what's actually inside of it... maybe the videos or the pricier items.

I was old enough to see the beads but not old enough to enter before they were gone. The adult section will forever be a realm of mystery to me.

But I got early internet so it balances out.
