Russian President Vladimir Putin has laid out a number of demands that he would require to stop his country's war against Ukraine.

Most of these demands are non-starters for Ukraine, analysts say.

Russia has demanded a full Ukrainian withdrawal from Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, de jure recognition of the occupied territories as Russian, a special status for the Russian-backed church and the Russian language in Ukraine, Kyiv's demilitarization, and a ban on Kyiv's NATO membership.

Imagine for one second.

Z, Macron, Merz, Starmer all coming there, DJT bringing in the cameras in the oval. And the 4 of them collectively addressing Vance, whilst looking uncomfortable about the hygiene standards of the sofa they are sitting on.

Mr Vice President, we decided we will defeat Russia without you. We rather lose that war, than win with a totalitarian who may be pedophile, who is deploying troops in his own cities and who ignores the courts and haebus corpus.

This would be the start of so much problem solving and it would just take one person that has power to wield it. Until something like this happens, I'm just going to consider everyone with power to be culpable.

Killing has to stop and terms must prevent it happening again, that's the main thing.

That's also the main thing Ukraine wants and unfortunately the latter seems what Putin doesn't want the most.
