Gotta admit, that is some absolute master skippering by the captain of the coastguard boat. Two significantly bigger and faster ships with a hard on for him and he just skillfully ran them into each other. Brilliant.

It's like something out of a movie. 🤦🏼

I play a maritime game, and it astounds me how often players have no awareness of the ships around them.

Do you really think everyone needs to close-chase an enemy ship? Maybe the fastest ship needs to chase, and you larger ships play a blocking role?

It's pretty clear they were trying to ram the Phillipino ship, kind of poetic justice they instead rammed their own.

The cameramen's trust in their captain and ship - they knew they weren't going to be hit, they made no preparation for it.

Fuck China.
