I remember spending about a week in gnome back when I first used Linux as my main OS (almost 20 years ago) and ditching it for KDE because gnome's design irked me.

The three finger touchpad gestures introduced in Gnome 40 are amazing on a laptop, I can't live without them anymore. Also I usually just type in the name of a programm to launch it so I couldn't care less whether the app overview is full screen or in the corner or whatever
What are you even complaining about? The Icons being too big? Also it's been like twenty years since Gnome 3
