Not same as always, as we never had to register on Elections Alberta for a municipal election before. Yes, you can register on E-day, assuming you have all the right paperwork, and you haven’t changed your name or anything. This is completely unnecessary. The UCP are aware that any hurdle you place inhibits voting to some degree. It’s voter suppression, and it’s very significant in a close election, specially in one where voter turnout is traditionally low.
