Its been almost a year and the DNC has changed nothing.

Epstein is a great avenue of attack but it is not a message.

All of the country is sick and tired of the DNC claiming they value an equitable, fair, and prosperous society but when they are in the hot seat that all falls away. Im not saying the DNC isn't better then the puddle of raw sewage that identifies as the GOP but let's be SERIOUS.

Liberals value equity and fairness. Liberal voters value equity and fairness. Leftys value equity and fairness.

The DNC needs to value power and maintaining power and they need to be open about it. Get it out there that you want the donor money. You want the two party system. You want gerrymandering. You want to take the power from the oppressor and what?? And what??? Why do we give it to you?

To be a plurality? Or maybe. Just maybe. You can look at the systems failure and say, "we are innovators", "we are leaders", "we are experts", and "we will address ever last part of this broken system until its broken no more." "We will be measured. We will be compassionate. We will earn this power."

Otherwise, its all just lip.

Mamdani won by focusing on affordability. But crucially, he also made a very clear and concise plan for HOW he was going to accomplish the things he wanted to. He had a whole series of bills he could cite that were currently being held up by the existing mayor, and he had a clear path to accomplishing what he promises. Democrats promises are mostly just vague platitudes. They often would require impossibly large margins in the Senate. They make no plans for bypassing the filibuster or hostile rulings by a corrupt Supreme Court. And they have no clear plan for how they'll avoid the "rotating villain" problem of their always being a Manchin or Lieberman there to sink positive legislation.

They need to focus on affordability AND make a clear and convincing case for how precisely they can achieve those aims. The reason no one believes them is because they never have any real plan on how to carry through their impressive-sounding agendas.

That's my point. No. One. Believes. Them.

There is a massive trust issue and its not going to dissappear. Thats why they focus only on Trump scandals, as if we beat this one douche who keeps trouncing them they've saved the country.

Its an inherently evil strategy employeed by the GOP but its to be expected because they are evil. Or have evil intent.

Everyone forgetting that AOC was nominated and selected by a grass roots political movement with the goal of unseating Joe Crowley, the DNC's planned "successor" for Nancy Pelosi. Individuals who seek out power rarely are the best ones to wield it.

People need to watch Knock The House Down, find their local chapter, nominate someone qualified, and sign up to start knocking on doors! We need to primary at least 50% of DNC incumbents if we want to see the needle move at all.

AOC is just one person.

We need more working class citizens in politics that are unwilling to take money from lobbyists.
