Propagated this arm a few months back and both sides are going back to throwing areoles for a bit. Bruce’s dragon is such a bizarre cutting

seems like the cactus is etiolating, from the lack of sunlight. all plants do this if you have very low sunlight exposure. they will stretch like crazy just to reach sunlight, i might get too top heavy.

It is not etiolating, it’s normally under a 2000w full spectrum light. It is just the cultivated genetics…basically a really weird “tbm long form” that does all kinds of funky stuff.
