This is a recent change in Lemmy World, and some communities have brought it up.

A Guess:

It seems that the server that gets the data for the YouTube link uses language that is the majority.

VPNs have a similar issue, where if the majority of VPN servers prefer a certain language, you will see that language when you use a search engine.
