Visiting Dresden

Q: Where can I find public WLAN, playgrounds, toilets, bike sharing, barbecue areas, skate parks, weekly markets, etc. etc.?
A: In the Dresden themed city map.

Q: I'm visiting Dresden soon, what must I see?
A: It depends on what you're in the mood for. Dresden has an incredible number of museums, exhibitions, performing arts and 327 hectares of parks and green spaces. The more turbulent nightlife takes place in and around Neustadt, the old town is a bit more dignified (and expensive), and in the south, around the universities, there are a whole series of student clubs. And if you've had enough of the city, the S-Bahn takes you to Saxon Switzerland in less than an hour.

Q: How can I find events that meet my expectations?
A: There is a calendar of events from the CCC Dresden, which doesn't just list nerd stuff. You can also find concerts on Rauze from time to time. And in the cultural calendar you can really find a lot of things.

Q: Where can I get the best Döner?
A: Do you want to start a fight? Let me know when you find a bad Döner.

A: Im Dresdner Themenstadtplan.

F: Ich besuche demnächst Dresden, was muss ich mir unbedingt anschauen?
A: Kommt drauf an, wonach dir ist. Dresden hat unsinnig viele Museen, Ausstellungen, es gibt darstellende Kunst und 327 Hektar Parks und Grünanlagen. Das turbulentere Nachtleben spielt sich in und um die Neustadt ab, etwas gediegener geht es in der Altstadt zu und im Süden rund um Technische Universität und die Hochschulen gibt es eine ganze Reihe Studentenclubs. Und wer genug von der Stadt hat, ist mit der S-Bahn in weniger als einer Stunde in der sächsischen Schweiz.

F: Wie finde ich Veranstaltungen, die meinen Vorstellungen entsprechen?
A: Es gibt einen Veranstaltungskalender vom CCC Dresden, der nicht nur Nerd-Kram Aufführt. Außerdem gibt's hin und wieder noch Konzerte auf Rauze zu finden. Und im Kulturkalender findet man dann schon unübersichtlich viel.

F: Wo gibt es den besten Döner?
A: Willst du einen Streit beginnen? Sag Bescheid, wenn du einen schlechten Döner gefunden hast.
