Spoiler: we know they're cowards, even without this ... toot? Is this Mastodon? Is that the right terminology?

I believe most Mastodon users just call them "posts". "Toot" was used more when Twitter was still Twitter.

Understandable, if perhaps less whimsical

True, but xitting should be in the dictionary.

I think so. And no, they're not cowards. I highly encourage you to watch this video of 1dime about the capitalist matrix.

TL;DW: the system reinforces itself over and over. You shouldnt blame individual players but instead help dismantle said system. We need to disarm the police, disarm the legal system (it is purposefully written to exclude workers from knowing it), and then go for abolition of capitalism towards democratic socialism.

"Democratic Socialism" is a contradiction in terms. A dictatorship of the proletariat cannot be democratic. You might be thinking of "Social Democracy", a system implemented successfully in many parts of the developed world (with the United States being a notable exception) but that's a form of capitalism.

You do understand that the "proletariat" is 99% of the world, right? You also understand that the word democracy stems from demos, which is the people and kratos which means rule.

Currently, we have plutocracy. Rule of the money through massive manipulation campaigns.
