I've seen videos of Suburus embarrassing normal 4X4s in climbing stuff, so this is a simple one. I mean an old Civic or Yugo would probably beat a Cybertruck too, so it's a low bar.

... Yes.
So, weight is a good thing on all but the deepest snow. So that's a plus. EVs actually do have a lot of pluses for off-roading and harsh weather, they have all the hardware required to do it well, but the software is evidently half-baked on this one.
If I were an automotive engineer and I wanted to fix that shitty performance, I'd start by troubleshooting the traction control system.

That EV can’t, but some EVs can. For example the Rivian R1T has a quad motor set up.

I've had lots of cars, and I think I've gotten all of them stuck in the snow ... except one. 1974 Super Beetle. Not only did it refuse to get stuck, it always started no matter how cold it was.
Lol, that's not even a Subaru SUV. It's got very little clearance, yet it does what the Cybertruck can't. Classic.
Actually, in a properly designed truck, the weight helps. Throwing 1000 lbs in the back of that Ford and it would spin tires a lot less than it does, and would do even better.
No shade on Subies, they have an excellent 4WD system. A small lift kit on a stock Subaru and you've got a hell of a backwoods rig. Maybe not classic Jeep level, but pretty close.
