I'm a cis straight white dude (but like waaay waaaaaay politically left - not like, american left either, real left - which I'm pretty sure cancels some of that out, but anyway) but purple has always been my favorite color by far... Speaking as a far left Dane, I consider the fact that we have royals in 2025 a huge waste of public resources and also a REALLY bad look when it comes to government for and by regular people.
That being said, I'm fully aware that there's MUCH bigger problems that are more important to deal with, so its abolishment isn't anywhere near as high on my list of reform priorities as it would be if pure "wrongness" and symbolism were the only criteria 😉
Same in Sweden pretty much. I can also recognise some of the arguments from the other side in favor of keeping the constitutional monarchy. Not that I think those arguments outweigh the fact that the money could be used elsewhere.
Thinking you should abandon purple instead of becoming ace, nb, or gengar shows you were never a real purple enjoyer.
