  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

If you really cared about what's best for the US, you and Trumpy would join hands and walk your asses into a volcano.

Musk lost $33 billion out of $368 billion yesterday. That's over 11% of his net worth evaporated in a day. I'm not surprise that he's trying to make up now. I just hope Trump keeps being the petty, vindictive bitch he's always been. I don't want this to be over so soon. I was enjoying it. I want trump to sick ICE on Musk, freeze his accounts, and nationalize his businesses in the USA. On the other hand, I want musk to dump all the dirt he has on Trump. He's got to have some juicy stuff, after all, he has access to every DM ever sent on Twitter and Trump must have incriminated himself multiple times on there.

There is something distopian in using bilionare as the metonym.

Rocket Man Icarus flew too close to the sun on this one. Elon thought he had a lot more pull than he did, but the invisible hand of the market was happy to fist him a friendly reminder of who's really in charge here. Musks power is his money and his money is his stock price; without it he is less than nothing.

Additionally Musk is the richest man in the world

He doesn't control most of the world's wealth though. There are families with generational wealth that makes musk look poor.

During the interview Bannon also claimed the feud is “a national security issue” as Musk reportedly used a lot of drugs during his rise to political prominence. He also repeated his claim that Musk is an “illegal alien”. (As NPR has factchecked, South African-born Musk has held US citizenship since 2002, according to PolitiFact. The Washington Post reported in October 2024 that Musk worked illegally in the US in the late 90s; Musk denied his work was unauthorized).

hehehehe
