Seems like at least two containers didn't work out, and in both cases there were people right on them.
I'm guessing that either some of the containers didn't open properly, or the drones didn't take off fast enough after they opened (at least some of the drones) people noticed the trucks opening, then went up and closed them again, and that caused the drones to explode in place.
