What’s the problem?
Nutomic is banned from Blahaj Zone for transphobia. He's using his position as a developer to bypass the ban and ask trans people to give him money.

That's not a bypass, it's a pop up coded in Lemmy itself. I hope there's a way to remove it.
There is, by forking lemmy and removing it. We already do that anyway, so we'll look in to seeing what we can do.
In the mean time, we offer a bunch of other frontends aside from the default lemmy UI, and they will all bypass this problem
change one frontend to the default
Good thing this is possible! I find those other frontends are so better than the default one (in my opinion)…

No, he was not unbanned, and he won't be unless a genuine walkback of his previous stance is made
This is really messed up considering that many instances out there aren't affiliated with Lemmy.ml and might even defed from them.
Also before someone comes in here whining that they shouldn't use lemmy, fuck off. This is Open-Source software. No one has any obligation to affiliate with or even support the devs by using it. You should also realize that "Migrating to new software" means starting a brand new instance, as the DB and User registrations are not compatible.
Where are you seeing that? I can't find it in the WebUI
