They both sound like a blatant ripoff of that Futurama episode

The suit alleges that the films end with the couples pulling out a vinyl copy of the Spice Girls’ album, “Spiceworld,” as they accept their fate.

If it's true that that happens in both films, that would be enough for me if I was a juror.
