You've already crippled Google search.

It was already crippled when Google decided it was better to make people spend more time searching for things than to have a useful google search tool. https://www.wheresyoured.at/the-men-who-killed-google/

Even if this is true, it's already so awful that I don't know how anyone would notice any difference. What would it do? Go from "really sucks" to "really really sucks?"

Robber says locks would cripple home security market.

If playing fair means the end of your entire business, then you're a bad business. Fuck off and good riddance. They probably held back or slowed innovation for years.

That might be an improvement...

Good. Make it happen, posthaste.

Can't cripple it more than Google's own product managers already have.

Google just needs broken up entirely. Corporations openly using their AI in war and engaging in mass surveillance is not the kind of world I want to live in.

Oh no, what would they do? Would they be forced to cram it full of ads? Would they be forced to shove a useless AI into it?? Oh god please don't ruin Google search, it's SO good at the moment!!! :(
