So was everything Lenin, Stalin, and Mao did. Theoretically it was preparation to eventually transition to communism after the overthrow of the vanguard. So far Russia has transitioned to fascism and China to capitalism. They've been as bad or even worse than the straight capitalists in some ways. Not a defense of capitalists. They're both part of the problem.

There was a time when being a communist or an eroin addicted was still acceptable and people didn't know about the consequences.

If you still play with those things in 2025 you must be terminally stupid (ex Italian commie here).

That said, in murica communism is often a really overstreched word

Routing for real communism is stuff for frustrated people, in 2025 we're living not that bad, that kind of frustration is just for wannabes and posers.

Routing for real communism means taking away the keys from a motherfucker and give them to another.

Difference?

The capitalists mf has a vague idea the businesses is ruling, the communist hasn't.

Look at Mao's history, is the most savage display of ineptitide in the humans history.

Cool, I'm not America and one side of my family comes from ex-soviet eastern Europe. So I know what I'm talking about and aren't just a "tourist".

Socialism is really just a better system than capitalism, even welfare capitalism. As capitalism is, by design, optimising for profit/power of people who are already rich or powerful. Any measures taken to curb that, or to protect poor people will always be fighting against the current of the system and so is always easier to reverse than to implement.

Socialism naturally protects the interests of the workers over profits, which means things like human rights and workers well being are natural heuristics of the system, so are therefore easier to implement than take away.

The "problem" with Socialism has always been either authoritarians taking advantage of the power vacuum created by socialist uprisings, or capitalists pouring massive resources into sabotaging Socialism to protect the profits and power of the rich and powerful.

Those problems are hard to get through, but if we ever do get through them, we will have an undoubtedly better system.

Lol ok because what you know is the only information that exists about communism and literally no one else on earth has had any other experience than yours.

For someone that's 45 you have a very narrow and immature view of things. You sound like this guy I know from Chile who always complains about socialism. Turns out, his family was able to own and operate one of the country's only car dealerships after Pinochet took over. Did their lives get better? Sure, but that doesn't mean Pinoche and capitalism was better for the rest of the country than Allende and socialism.
