I’m a parent and I massively struggle with this. I am trying to be completely open and honest in age appropriate way but it’s really hard to do that without it becoming a conversation about how we are all deeply, deeply in for a bad time.
I've tried to leave a trail of breadcrumbs, and I got called "paranoid" for years by family and the kids picked that up from them too. Now every time anyone points out the superdepressing news and where it looks like were heading I just say "don't be paranoid." and give my best derp look.
I'm still waiting for my apology, but nobody likes to hear "I told you so". At least no one calls me paranoid anymore, so there is that.
I bet anti-natalism grows as a movement going forward.
