They should really be sued for that show.
Edit: 5 days later cause I remembered this shit and it pissed me off enough to come back and elaborate. The thing that really irks me about that show is that it gave Republicans the blueprint. The greatest hits in no particular order:
*Spout some bullshit as fact and don't acknowledge that anything else could possibly be true. *Use the phrase "some say/speculate" as if those "some" people aren't FUCKING ALL OF THE CREDIBLE EXPERTS! *Willful ignorance *"Pride and closeness" in a group of otherwise wildly lonely people *Can't bother to look into anything further than they're told *Lack of critical thinking skills *Call yourself an expert in shit that doesn't exist *Lie in the face of easily attainable facts
Disclaimer: first off I know I'm probably missing some easy ones, but I'm not in college anymore. I also understand that those were always Republican ideals, but that show spread the disease and normalized it and the Republicans have cranked it up exponentially since that show has started.
