Can we all just move on from Reddit? I feel like the constant bitterness toward it only brings a negative attitude to Lemmy.
Personally, I have Reddit completely blocked on my network and the only way to “access” it is to redirect to a Redlib instance. I don’t really care to hear about it anymore.
But how will I find the solution [Comment deleted] from [User deleted] for my obscure software problems???
Lemmy isn’t a whole lot better. There’s still stuff you have to block straight away.
The worst part is, after you block all the foreign language communities, all the Linux, all the loli anime, there's very little left.

Been a while since I've been on Reddit. Isn't the front page a collection of all subscribed subreddits? This would apply more to /r/all or am I wrong?
They add "suggested" subs to your feed now. They're labeled as such, but it's pretty annoying.
A lot of content is toxic dopamine-loop bullshit that I will consume if it's in my feed. On reddit, I stopped being able to keep it out of my life.

If you have time to doom scroll you have time to engage in hobbies and non political conversations. Otherwise go spend time organizing the resistance or get to the range or whatever you need to do.
