Oh wow! I'm currently fostering a litter with a colorpoint, and at 2 weeks she was just starting to show some hints of color. She's about 4 weeks now and her nose & ears still aren't that dark. This is her at about 2.5 weeks.

Yes! According to her previous owner, she was not tipped, she came home with the ear hanging off, shook it, and it flew off.

She was an outdoor cat, so my theory is, someone grabbed her to neuter her, saw she was neutered, and tipped her so she wouldn't be grabbed again. Either way, she's an indoor only cat now! She's happy, indoor has extremely nice beds to be cozy in!

Wow, that's crazy! I foster with an organization that does a lot of TNR, so it's always great to see cats adapt to the luxuries of indoor life.

She adapted extremely quickly when she realized she could go under the blankets and sleep next to the human! A hot water bottle just for HER? Amazing, A+, thank you human we nap every day now understand? I agreed. We nap.
