We’re the generation who pirates movies. We only watch them in cinemas with "friends"
I will never understand how sitting next to each other in silence for a couple of hours staring at a screen became something we commonly do with friends in the first place. It’s probably the most antisocial group activity I could think of.
A big part of the experience is talking to your buddy about the movie after it's over. Hard to do that when you go alone.
