Explanation: Trebonianus Gallus was a short-lived Roman Emperor during the Crisis of the Third Century. After an outbreak of plague in the city of Rome, Emperor Gallus provided free burials to those too poor to bury their loved ones. It may seem small, but with the cultural and emotional importance of paying respects to the dead, it was a very popular move amongst the poorest citizens of the city!
