Likewise, I've been posting art and photos on pixelfed everyday. I love photography as an art form. Thanks for sharing.

Hey! I replied to you on Pixelfed, but I’m not sure the message made it through. Sorry about that — I’m still figuring things out here. Anyway, here’s what I meant to say "That’s really great to hear! I think it’s so important not just to share our photos but also, whenever possible, the experiences behind them. I truly believe that good photos come from meaningful experiences. Sometimes they are positive, sometimes not so much, but they always leave something with us. I feel like the fediverse is helping with that by moving us away from big tech and bringing us closer to people who share the same passion. Thanks for sharing your experience with Pixelfed!"
I saw your comment! All good. I totally agree that moving away from big tech brings people together. I've had a lot more meaningful interactions here, on pixelfed, and on Cara than I ever had during my entire time on Instagram and similar apps. I'm so glad I've moved on and I'm mentally healthier and happier.
Keep creating!
I've never really had an affinity for Instagram. I've never felt connected, so I've never missed using it. I've always used it out of obligation. 😉
