I would like this for old cartoons that had 2 or 3 episodes in a time block

Plex has a feature that can index multiple episodes of a show from a single file. Shuffling that show will then do what you described.

I don't recall the specifics, but I think I had to specify that there were multiple episodes in each file via the Web UI to get it to work, so it might be a manual process.

Oh that's good to know.

Yup, looking at it, I see that it has broken them up into chapters and I didn't even realize it would do that.

I believe I got it to index multiple episodes automatically by including all the episodes in the file name.

Ex: Series Name - S01E01-02-03 - Episode Name One + Episode Name Two + Episode Name Three.mp4
