I was on both sides of this. Ive interviewed and been a team lead hiring. Every company under the sun will market you a solution. Most are just glorified BS filters.

For one company, I was part of the interviewing side of things. I just had interviewees show me their GitHub and explain their work and repos. We should get a pretty good read into the person really quick by that. Just go into any detail and you will learn quickly if they used an automated tool (before AI) and/or made a hello world tutorial.

No take home, 2 interviews, boom hire or not. All the people I was part of the hiring process did very well in the job.
