I got an Nvidia when I got my dream machine last time (paid a shitload of money, but it was half what it would be if I got it now). Since I value my current machine very much and the computer field seems to be stagnating, I will just maintain my current machine. The last failure was due to a dying power supply (which can be replaced) and a dying hard drive.

If I wanted to add a 2nd GPU to my computer, it is going to be an AMD. I had AMDs before and they were fine.
